| “The
promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off – for all whom
the Lord our God will call.” Acts 2:39
Welcome, visitors and
friends!
What an exciting
present and future we have at Anne Ashley Church, and as Christians!
It is a privilege to
be the church’s pastor at this time in history. We stand at the threshold of a new chapter in our life as the Body of
Christ at Anne Ashley Church.
The Lord is busy in
our lives. He is moving in the hearts
and lives of our congregation. Many have
expressed how the outpouring of God’s love through others here has made a
significant difference in the midst of personal difficulties. Individual testimonies of spiritual growth
and development are a blessing. We are
Leaders in our congregation are rising up to
fulfill their ministries. As we continue
to grow in faith and in every circumstance, we give God all the glory and
praise He so richly deserves. The Lord
has been so faithful to us in the past, and I anticipate with joy what He will
do in and through us in the future.
An important part of
our church vision is to grow deeper together as a congregation in order to
accomplish our mission, Reaching others
with the love of Christ (Acts 2:42-47). There is simply no better or more necessary message for this day and
age. We accomplish our mission and
vision in many ways already, but God has more in store for us.
As we look to the
future, we remember a faithful God who provided in Jesus Christ our salvation,
our forgiveness, our eternal life; a God who meets all of our spiritual,
physical, intellectual and relational needs – Jehovah Jireh – our Provider.
Because sacrifice is
significant in God’s eyes, He reminds us that we all have a significant role in
the Lord’s work. Together with the Anne
Ashley Church membership, I invite you to come and grow deeper with us in God’s
love and explore the present and future He has in store for us, remembering the
Bible assures us that the Holy Spirit manifests His promises in those rising up
in His name to build the bride of Christ – His church.
We want to see Jesus
high and lifted up, and we want to see the Holy Spirit fall down upon us, that
we might be faithful witnesses for the King of Kings!
Blessings,
 Greg Golden, Pastor
